BOYS AND GIRLS 101
Ever wonder what's the difference between guys and girls? I found the perfect illustration here from a famous comic strip - taken from Pete Wilson's blog.
Here are a few examples from E462: THE GUYS. True or False? Guys spend a lot of time fixing their hair (sometimes even more than the girls). TRUE.
Here's Jonathan trying to drag Jordan out of the couch.

Past, Present, Future
We all need to deal with three realms. The past, the present and the future. We can't escape the past by trying to live in the future. We need to deal with the past first. Then the present, then the future. Unresolved offences, unconfessed sins, unpaid bills, unsaid apologies, unwritten letters will torpedo both our present and future. Then we need to secure our present - create patterns and systems to live by, organise work and play - establish priorities and commitments. Our foundation is solid. Now we can dream, pray, prepare, plan and stategize for the future.

I CAN SING
What happens when you place Bear, Belle, Jon and Esther together in Chinatown at 8 in the evening? You guys won't believe what happened. Yes, we sang K-A-R-A-O-K-E. I'm still not sure how it 'came to pass' but it did. And it was fun!
Belle messaged me Mon. night and told me we're going to meet up for "K" at Chinatown. I said yes..even though i didnt know what K meant. Even though i did not know what we were going to do. Even though i was going to hear Jonathan sing (just joking. lol.)
Tue. night. We met up at Outram MRT. Jon led the way although at first he didn't know where..good thing he's not that old, haha. So we made ourselves comfortable and we began to..sing. Well, Belle did. So after a few Chinese songs (which i didn't understand but i nodded my head along with the tune), Bear chose some English songs..for me to sing. SCARY. Ok, the first one was, i think "my heart will go on" - a CELINE DION song.. which nearly killed not only my vocal chords but Jon's too. Sorry for the poor quality pics. We wanted to sing 'in the dark' so we wouldn't be too embarrassed and so those outside wouldn't see who was singing..LOL. We let Belle and Belinda sing most of the songs 'coz well, mostly they were in Chinese and they were better at it than we were. LOL. So, whenever Jonathan and i do sing..we were nervous and we laughed throughout the song. Freeflow of drinks, some chips and sharksfin soup. :) We chose COLD HONEY and it was a good choice 'coz our throats didn't get damaged or anything. When we got tired of singing, what did we do? We took pics, of course. Jonathan and Belle. The pillows were so soft we wanted to take them home with us! As you can see here, Belle was 'in the moment'. Bear and Belle :) Me and Bear :) Jon and Bear :) Belle and Jon. Jon is squinting 'coz the flash was too bright, heh. Did we really go here for Karaoke or for a photoshoot? I think both. They can really pose so i had fun taking photos of them. See? They naturally look good in front of the camera. Here's another shot. The Serious Look. LOL.Haha. I asked them to do this. It was our turn. I don't know who suggested that someone take a pic of our butts (no, i don't think it's me and Belle..so it has to be either Jon or Bear. I think it's Bear.) Apparently, the middle one looks like she doesn't have a butt 'coz she's between two uhm..blessed ones? Jon kept asking how come we don't have butts and only Belinda does. LOL. It was 12 am! We spent 4 hours in a karaoke! There was only 1 bus left that we could take! And we were still taking pictures! At this hour! Bear showing off her manicured(black+glitter) nails which she worked hard on so i had to take a picture of. Jon not caring one bit. LOL. Yeah, so..we had fun..we sang and we enjoyed ourselves. It doesn't matter how bad we sung the songs..or even if we can't understand or sing in Chinese well..it was a great night. Next time, it's your (E462! EACH 1 OF YOU!) turn. Muahahaha (evil laugh)!!!!!! Labels: Chinatown, fun, karaoke
