Hey guys, first post.. this Saturday was fun :) For those of you guys who were not able to come for cg and FOP, this is a kind-of-a breakdown of what happened.
First up, we had cg.. I don't think anybody met up at Eunos MRT though except Bear and Maria.
We played the game where you have to choose a different action from the other people in the game. Ok, (don't laugh, you guys) i don't really know what's the name of the game but this is what is sounds like to me : "oo - ling - ta - hui". Anyway after several rounds, Alfred did the forfeit. He had to do a marathon: dance the cha-cha, spell out "i love E462" with his butt and sing "twinkle, twinkle little star"- IN 30 SECODS. SuTing said so. Haha. Good thing Alfred was the one who did the forfeit -Alfred17.
We had Praise and Worship + Testimony and Offering. Afterwards, we had our fellowship. We rode bus no. 16 to Kallang Leisure Park and watched "The Mummy". We had to buy some food + drinks so we were a bit late. The show was not really a hit with me 'coz i watched the previous 2 (which were better)- i'd rate it 6/10. If not for Jonathan (not Jonathan Hoe), Eevee's brother and a few funny "mummy scenes", i wouldn't have been entertained. However..THANK YOU SUTING FOR BLESSING US!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
After nearly freezing inside, we finally got out and went outside to queue for FOP. I heard this conversation between Bear and Alexis.
Alexis: Why's there such a long queue, ah?
Bear (smiling): For FOP..
Alexis (staring wide-eyed in disbelief): WAH? FOR FOP, AH???!!!!
It was really funny to see the reaction on our faces when we saw the queue but we didn't really wait that long..we got 2 rows of seats - A11/T11. We heard the Parachute Band and Reuben Morgan and the Hillsong team.
It was amazing to see everyone coming together worshipping God. When the lights were dimmed and the music began to echo throughout the whole stadium, we all lifted up our hands and we sang..
Not caring what anyone else would think, not caring whether the person sitting next to us had enough space to move their hands, not caring about the lyrics (most of which we did not know) or the tune , not caring how we looked like or even whether the camera was going to focus on our faces (it was too dark anyway)..we just worshipped God. And that was awesome.
And so we went home..feeling tired, feeling like we spent too much on the cab ride home, feeling like we all need a good night's rest..but feeling a whole lot more closer to God.
